 Firefighter Amanda Adams started her career with Orlando Fire Department as a dispatcher and soon became a Firefighter with Orange County on September 20th 2008.  Amanda was hired with Orlando Fire Department on April 28th 2008.  Amanda was most known for her strength and leadership; she was not hesitant to speak up which earned her the nickname Comanda around OFD.  Amanda served most of her career at stations 10 and 8.  She was a light in every room and she took great pride in her job.  Amanda worked thru her battle with cancer and was a faithful God fearing family woman!  Amanda used her battle to help others find God and also spread the message of getting early scans for cancer as firefighters.  She never feared anything for she had her strong faith and support of her loving family.  Amanda loved the OFD hockey club and would always be in attendance to cheer on her husband Chris in net.  Amanda passed on August 16, 2024.  Amanda your fire family and your hockey family will forever miss you!
